Administrators can easily add their team to Brand.ai and determine who can edit and view design libraries in the organization.
The Team Management Page
To navigate to the team management page, log in to your account on the web from https://brand.ai.
Then click the Team tab.
Alternatively, from the Sketch plugin, select "Add Team Member..." from the dropdown menu:
To add a member, enter their email, and click Add Member to send an invite.
The member will receive an invite to the requested email with a link to follow to sign up to Brand.ai and join your organization.
If the email address is associated with an existing user in Brand.ai, that user will immediately gain access to the organization.
Note that each member you add is counted towards your organization's member limit.
To remove a member, click the trashcan icon next to the member role.
An admin can't remove him/herself, but admins can remove other admins.
Roles and Permissions
There are three roles: Administrator, member, and member - Editor. Here is a breakdown of the roles:
- Administrators can manage users and payment methods.
- Members can view design libraries and use tools and integrations.
- Member - Editor members can edit and create design libraries.
By default, a new member you add is a viewer Member and does not have library edit permissions.
To change a user's role, click the user's role label, and select a different role from the dropdown menu.
Member roles apply to all design libraries in the organization. That is, a viewer can view all libraries, and an editor can edit all libraries. To set permissions on a library level, see next section.
[This feature is available in the Enterprise plan only.]
To set permissions for a specific library, navigate to the settings page of the library:
View the library on the web, and click the library Settings button at the top navbar.
In the Design Library Permissions section, you can set the permissions that each member will have for the specific library. Select the desired permissions, and click Update when you're done.
